地元高島市安曇川町、平井農産さん栽培の山田錦を使用しました。
フルボディーで味わい深く、おだやかで落ち着いた香りの癒し系純米酒をめざしました。
「かじや村」の由来
「かじや村」は「鍛冶屋村」。このお酒の米、山田錦を生産したのは、安曇川町田中字鍛冶屋村にある平井農産の平井貞夫・佐千夫親子。この地に居を構えた先祖は、刀鍛冶をしていたと言われ、鍛冶屋村という地名の由来となっています。
ラベルの民家はその平井農産平井肥料店のスケッチです。
平成１５年６月５日付の朝日新聞にホーロー看板と言う文と共に掲載されました。絵と文は福山聖子さん。その時の原画をもとに、あらためて彩色画を描いて頂きました。書は地元の書家西川桂邨先生にお願いしました。

We used Yamada-Nishiki grown by Hirai Nosan in Adogawa-city.
We aimed for a healing Junmai sake with a full-bodied, rich flavor and a gentle, soothing aroma.
Origin of "Kajiya Village"
"Kajiya-mura" means "blacksmith village". The rice for this sake, Yamada-Nishiki, was produced by Hirai parent and child of Hirai-Nousan, located in Kajiya-mura, Tanaka, Adogawa-city. It is said that their ancestors who settled in this area were sword smiths, hence the name Kajiya-mura.
The private house on the label is a sketch of the Hirai Nosan Hirai Fertilizer Store.
It was published in the Asahi Shimbun dated June 5, 2003, along with the text "enamel signboard. The picture and text were drawn by Seiko Fukuyama. Based on the original drawing at that time, we asked the artist to draw a new colored drawing. The calligraphy was done by a local calligrapher, Mr. Nishikawa.
