道の駅くつき新本陣・鯖街道交流館
yasuhiko nishi道の駅くつき新本陣は、旧領主・朽木氏の陣屋機能を現代風に復元し、1987年に誕生した。
店内には、アドベリージャムや鯖寿司など高島の特産品が数多く並んでいる。また、20年以上続く朝市（毎週日曜・祝日開催）が人気で、多くの観光客で賑わっている。
鯖街道交流館は、1999年に道の駅くつき新本陣の隣に建てられた。事務所や食べ放題のレストラン、会議所、無料休憩所などがある。
学生メモ
道の駅くつき新本陣には、たくさんの特産品が並んでおり、どの商品をお土産にするかとても悩んでしまいました。
特産品だけでなく、新鮮な野菜も数多く並んでおり、地元の方も多く来られていました。
今回は、その中でも、笹百合荘の「焼きさば寿司」を購入しました。寿司は、柔らかくてお酒と合う一品でした。また、鯖街道交流館では食べ放題の昼食を食べ、学生に優しいお値段で、とても美味しくお腹いっぱいになりました！
